Pottery Lessons

This is an hour long pottery lesson where you will get to throw on the wheel in our wet studio! It includes the clay and the bisque firing of your creation. You will then get to glaze your piece on our main floor. A great way to see how both parts of Made in Muncie works!&nbsp;<div><br></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><font size="4"><u>What to Expect</u></font></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><b>First Visit:</b> You will have an hour long pottery lesson that includes clay and the bisque firing of your creation in our wet studio.&nbsp; Prepare to get a little messy!&nbsp; Clay will wash out of clothing and aprons are available.&nbsp; Those with long or acrylic nails may find throwing a bit more difficult as it can cut into the clay.</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><b>Second Visit: </b>After the bisque firing is finished, we will give you a call and you will return to the studio to glaze your pottery. We have many options available for the "Paint Your Own Pottery" part of the process.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em">Once your pottery has been fired for the final time, we will give you call to pick up your finished piece!</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em">Note: The are two short flights of stairs to get to our wet studio.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em">Recommend age: 10 years old and up.</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4em"><br></span></div><div>We will give you a courtesy call a few days before the day of your lesson just as a reminder!
