Make sure to tell them we are on the side of the building behind East of Chicago Pizza for the smoothest start to your party. Late arrivals may not have the entire time to paint their pieces. Please be patient with our staff if they are having to help late arrivals pick out pieces and catch up while taking care of all the other needs of the party.&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">-During the painting time, we will provide instruction to the artists, hand out paints and assist where needed. This is a chance for painters to be creative and paint however they wish. This is not a step by step painting instruction class.&nbsp; *Remember to let the littles’ inner artist come out and remember that not all dogs are brown, or sharks are gray. Embrace their imagination and cherish those messy pieces now. Before you know it they will have perfect pieces and you’ll miss these days.&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">- Painting time can vary depending on the age of the participants and also the arrival time of your guests. A 4 or 5 year old is going to paint for a much shorter time than an 11 year old. Our staff will adjust the beginning of the party to anticipate this and help keep the kids entertained until it’s time for treats and celebrations.&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">-If you choose to have pizza or other food at your party, that must be done at the very end. Please understand that this may either reduce the amount of time your guests have to paint or may require gift opening to happen at home after the party. Due to current Covid procedures, Paint a Piece staff can not handle or distribute food to be consumed by party guests.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal"><br></span></font></h6><h6 style="line-height: 1.2; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 16pt"><font size="4"><span>Just a few reminders to help make your party a success:<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">- Projects will be dry and ready to take home that day.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">- The birthday child’s commemorative birthday plate will be ready for pickup 5-7 days after the party.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">- You may arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the event to set up. Decorations are allowed, however we do not allow piñatas, confetti, noise makers or bouncy balls.<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">- Our canvas projects use acrylic paints and therefore are not washable and will stain clothing. Aprons will be provided, but encourage your party attendees to wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty and also be mindful about wearing shirts with long or puffy sleeves that may get in the way.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br></span><span style="font-weight: normal">- Our current party room max capacity is 20 people, </span><span style="font-weight: normal">therefore parents are encouraged to drop off party attendees and pick up when the party's over. If kids are too young for that, please remember to count parents that will have to remain in your total headcount for the party.
