Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse (PCCR) promotes resource conservation, creativity, and community engagement through material reuse. We achieve our mission through community initiatives including ourSHOPwhere artists, teachers and everyone else can get the materials they need for their creative projects, and through our hands-on creativePROGRAMS, both at our Center and around the region. If you're looking for affordable art and craft supplies, fabric, yarn, sewing notions, office supplies, paper, business and industrial discards and surplus, or vintage curiosities to incorporate into your creative project, you'll love our shop. We're open every day from 11 am to 6 pm! We'd love to meet you. Visit our Facebook pagefor up-to-date photos of materials in our shop and project ideas. (You don't have to be "on" Facebook to see our stuff.) If you are planning an event that needs a creative activity with an environmental twist, learn more aboutReuse-A-Palooza, then fill out ouronline schedulerto get in touch with us about your event. Our shop is located in the same building (but around the corner and through a different door) asConstruction Junction- be sure to visit them while you're here! We wouldn't be here without Construction Junction's example and generosity. While our organizations are separate, we share a passion for keeping useful stuff out of the landfills and into the hands of creative people. PCCR is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. From 2008 through 2012 we were a project of thePennsylvania Resources Council. We are so grateful to PRC for their guidance and support.Read more
