February is Clay Month! <div><br></div><div>Starts: Wednesday, February 8th</div><div>Ends: Wednesday, February 23rd</div><div>Time: 5:30 -6:30 pm</div><div>Ages: 8-13</div><div>Price: $105.00</div><div><br></div><div>Kids will learn how to make pottery on the potter's wheel! </div><div><br></div><div>Learn about clay and kilns then centering, lifting, shaping, surface decoration, and painting as they are off to creating their own unique pieces in this AWESOME pottery wheel class. </div><div><br></div><div> Yes! Clay is from the earth and just like playing in the mud!
Aprons will be provided during the session, but we recommend dressing in clothes that can get a little messy.
They will make lots of unique things in clay from mugs and bowls to plates and pitchers...we are ready to guide your child's imagination! <br></div><div><br></div><div> Week 1. 2/8: Clay, Kilns, Wedge, & Throwing on the Potters Wheel</div><div><br></div><div> Week 2. 2/15: Pottery Wheel workday- learning about the stages of clay</div><div><br></div><div> Week 3. 2/22: Adding attachments and painting! </div><div><br></div><div>Class includes clay, two firings, glaze, instruction, and the use of tools. </div><div><br></div><div><b>February Kids Wheel Class begins on Wednesday, February 8th, and ends on Wednesday, February 22nd</b></div><div><br></div><div> Projects will be ready for pickup in 4 weeks. </div><div><br></div><div> Projects, once fired, will be food and liquid-safe.
