Intro Course to Pottery

**Pottery Wheel Lessons have been paused temporarily and will available again in May 2025 **


Overview

Get your hands dirty with one of our exciting beginner wheel classes. We currently offer short course options with either a one off class or a 3 part course. Wheel classes are for 10+, as it requires a bit more muscle, attention, and height than some kiddos have. 

Intro Session Options:
  • Per participant- 3 classes for 1 students 

Each class is approximately 45 minutes instruction + Clean up
2nd class is 1.5hr long*

1st 1st Class;

  • Introduction of Wheel

  • Positioning

  • Terminology 

  • Preparing the Clay

  • Centering

  • Coning Practice and play

  • How to Clean


2nd Class; (1.5hour Class)

  • 1st lesson review

  • Prep clay

  • Step by Step bowl/cup forming

  • Clean up


3rd Class:

  • Trim & Design the piece

  • Glazing (after piece goes through 1st firing)

  • Exclusive Dip glazing instruction and use



    2nd, 3rd,  class scheduling will be scheduled in person at the time of 1st class 


    Classes are on Saturdays. Please call or email for weekday evening special request.

Non-refundable for no call no show
Classes can be rescheduled or given as store credit.
